The Boston Metro is reporting that Beyonce Knowles invited three survivors from the Boston Marathon Bombing to meet her backstage at her concert in Boston at the TD Garden.
Mery Daniel, 31, Adrianne Haslet, 32, and Heather Abbott, 38, were located near the finish line of the annual Boston Marathon when two explosives went off back in April, killing three people and leaving another 264 injured including these three women who lost their legs but have since learned to walk with prosthetics.
The women snapped a photo with the superstar backstage which was posted on Beyonce’s Tumblr page and from the looks of it the trio were happy to meet “Queen B”.
In June, these three survivors appeared on the cover of People Magazine and without a doubt they are showing true strength indeed!
Beyonce is on a roll when it comes to reaching out to the community. Last weekend she participated in a “Justice for Trayvon” rally in New York City and days after that, the star dedicated Sam Cooke’s “A Change is Gonna Come” to the struggling city of Detroit during her recent tour stop there.
