A Former Dublin Coffman and Ohio State University football standout is recovering after a recent stabbing attack.
Current Pittsburg Steelers OT Mike Adams is recovering after being stabbed in an apparent robbery attempt in Pittsburgh.
“I had an angel looking out for me!” Adams wrote. “(I’ll) be ok just gotta fight to get back harder then ever.”
Adams’ agent, Eric Metz, told NFL.com that the tackle underwent surgery after being stabbed in the stomach.
“We are aware of the situation regarding Mike Adams being stabbed earlier this morning,” Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert said. “We are in direct communication with both Mike and his family. Mike is expected to make a full recovery.”
Metz told NFL.com that Adams was stabbed after confronting three assailants who allegedly tried to steal his truck.
