The man well known to music fans as “The Preacher” has been diagnosed with the early stages of Alzheimer’s Disease.  Cleveland native Bobby Womack recently revealed that he was diagnosed with the disease which is also know as “the long goodbye”.  Bobby had been recently having difficulty remembering the names of people he has worked with while performing.  He’s also had trouble remembering the lyrics to his songs.

Bobby Womack, age 68, was inducted in the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame in 2009. He has also recently battled prostate cancer, pneumonia and colon cancer.  We wish Mr. Womack the very best.
